breaking news!

As i make some small news here and there in the big page 3 news papers... i realise that i am being slowly and slowly being turned into a product from a normal human being...its a new strange feeling..
i never forget to sms all my dear friends and relatives,"hi do read page X nY of todays paper,"regards nalin. ('its an addiction"they say..) and i am falling for it.....

my movie adores india's stand at the time of world war 2..When the whole world was fighting,Gandhiji did not shake hands with Hitler to defeat the britishers. We stood alone in the international scenario and fought our war thru non voilence...history had never witnessed any war of independence like this...

Gandhiji stood for peace ,non voilence and a secular india...Today we remain the same, a successfull democracy, peace loving a secular nation.

i do expereince hallowness inside me sometimes..

The whole idea of scripting this movie and executing it to its final stages ,receives a blow ,when i dont see the main motive behind this being highlighted..... i always had dreamt that whenever i will be on stage, i will ask for a debate as to whether the elections in india need to be state sponsored.... i beleive that the govt. shud not allow campaignings to be done by political parties and individuals...hence the use of money by one gets minimised...

let d posters,tv shows, public platforms be arranged by the govt, and let every candidate get a chance to address the audience.....ban all other types of campaigns.....in our democracy today..any political party needs a lot of money to fight elections..they take it from individuals, favours are returned when they come in power, this leads to corruption..

.an individual party is not to blamed for this ,the fault lies inside the system itself.....

i am for a better democracy for my country, i have no party affiliations ,and as they put it in jnu ..."i am a free thinker_"FT'... will this idea fit inside any of segments of your news paper,

i am probably d worst looking actor b'wud is goin to witness,d movie might just be another one...and i hardly wear any branded stuffs, ther might be a hole in my underwear too...i dont like party's and booze at all, forget about my favourite eating joints...

will you please call in for a debate , for the betterment of my country and for mankind.
i adore rakhi sawants and other backless women on your pages ...

  3. indeed it is wonderful to see an individual making a move... i do feel we all need to think alike and then nothing is impossible.

Agree with you nalin bhai, if gandhi ji also would have thought like what can he do alone, we would not have been breathing the air of freedom.

  4. We are alas but commodities Nalin.....everyone sells, everyone of us is sold! However, there are several priceless virtues and values beyond the materialism. Keep the FT alive....page 3 could do with some! Good luck with this film and many more to come!!

  5. majority of our people wish what you have stated but unifying their wishes and unleashing the massive collective power is what makes the difference. Once in a while we need a Gandhiji who can do this task. If a Gandhiji born today..ALAS we again wish:)

  6. Gandhi chroniclers never tire of recounting his historic role in mobilising the masses, without acknowledging that Gandhi's mass politics was oriented against the very masses-the poor, the deprived, the caste-oppressed--whom he used as foot-soldiers of the nationalist project (in British India-)

Gandhi never approved of the autonomous self-activity of the masses. They had to be 'unobtrusively' guided by the high caste notables. The caste elites projected Gandhi within the framework of brahmanic faith, tradition and mythology as an avatar (Incarnation) whose darshan (sighting) was an ennoblign end in itself.

  7. In the avatar of half-saint and half-politician, Gandhi allowed himself to be manipulated and controlled by his 'trustees', the power-elite. Paternalism was intrinsic to the Gandhian 'reconstruction' of Indian society.

  8. Gandhi had the staggering ability to 'emotionalise' all issues. He expeditiously shifted-without changing- his definitions of caste, freedom, and nationalism, all of which were embedded in his trademark brahmanical obscurantism. Always speaking from the high moral ground in the name of the poor and the unfortunate, and constantly invoking truth and non-violence, he never lost his zeal to perform miracles---in the manner of a Mahatma--liberating the oppressed with the consent of the oppressor and raising the poor with the money of the rich.
This is enough for his hagiographers to project him as a redeemer of the poor and an enemy of the prince. It is never unravelled how, through his constant evocation of Varnashrama (caste Hindu pyramid), Ram Rajya and Trusteeship Gandhi supported the ascriptive caste order and the whole matrix of oppressive socio-economic concepts associated with it.

  10. @frank...everything is so debatable....different historians, and different writers with their different opinion/biased views wrote history.....one thing is for sure that Gandhiji stood for peace and secularism...the term "harijan"was coined for the upliftment of the lower castes...however my story is about the "gandhi" from an international perspective...when compared with other leaders of the world of his era....i plan to do a street play to reform our democratic system soon...till then aao aao natak dekho...bees minute ka natak dekho...aao aao!
